High-altitude nutrient science and ethical soil restoration. We build soil up, season over season — the opposite of extractive farming.
Yield mapping and micro-zoning tell us what to grow where, so each crop lands in the soil and season that suits it best.
Seed-to-shelf traceability on every batch — scan a package and follow its journey from the exact plot to your table.
LOFAM grew from a simple conviction: food in Nepal should be safe by default, not by luck. Too much produce reaches the market with unknown inputs and untested residue. We set out to change that at the source — in the soil.
Our partner farms sit across Nepal’s varied Himalayan terrain, where elevation and micro-climate shift the rules every few hundred metres. We treat that complexity as an advantage: with soil sensing, controlled inputs, and yield mapping, each plot is farmed to its own strengths. Healthy soil grows nutrient-dense food with fewer inputs — and that is what safe food really means.
Everything we grow is testable and traceable. If we can’t verify it, we don’t sell it.
Meet the soil, the sun, the rains, and the hands behind every LOFAM product.
